A really special vineyard. The forest along the dirt road to Rancho la Viña is thick and jungle-like, hiding the sky. From the cold, windy, Southwest corner of the Sta. Rita Hills AVA, this vineyard creates some of the earthier wines of the AVA, as a result of is climate, clay content and north facing slope. Fresh and light on its feet, bright fruit and earth. Aged 18 months in neutral wood. Spontaneous fermentation, bottled unfined/unfiltered. Drink now through 2030+.
